And yet there is also a sense of sedness and loss as they lay discarded on the floor no longer able to fly. In this mini course we gather those lost feathers of all shapes and sizes and turn them to unique little pieces of art. The idea for this course came to me during the pandemic when we all spent more time exploring the outside spaces around us. It taught me to really appreciate the wonderful spaces on my doorstep which previously I had perhaps taken for granted.

This course follows me as I go out and explore the world around me and take my thoughts and ideas from a place back to the studio to create a walking journal. Packed with loads of art journaling and mixed media techniques to learn I hope that you'll be encouraged to go out and explore and use the amazing spaces around you as inspiration to create.
